Their may be hope for society after all. Her comments about her situation are getting blown to pieces. Literally she has gotten thousands of downvotes.

She claims it's "infuriating" that she can't move in the new boyfriend and still collect the health insurance and alimony.

"Because Massachusetts lives in the dark ages and if we cohabitate or hold ourselves out as married ( like sharing assets or binding ourselves together in any way legally) I will lose my alimony. Very barbaric if you ask me."

44yrs old and still refusing to get a job. Even if she was a SAHM and doing the majority parenting, the husband was still also providing for that lifestyle. So it's equal and she should now get her ass up to work. These lowlifes are all over the place.

Another one just yesterday was angry that she (47) would not be inheriting the house that she and her husband (65) live in upon his death because the house actually belonged to the husband's late wife who had inherited it from her own parents but she passed before she had a will. It was a pre marital asset but he got it after her death. The house is going to their daughter (30) because it belonged to her mother. This gold digger was upset that she'll "only" be getting all his life insurance and some stuff.

That was hilarious. That bit at the end AITA for not wanting to lose my benefits. She sounds like a veteran or retired police officer.

Seriously, reading between the lines. She left her nice-guy doctor. Probably because he wouldn't let her stay in her masculine energy. He also was preventing her from spending all of his money.

She is basically telling her new boyfriend he doesn't make enough to ride all the way round the track. Women who walk around with Hermes bags wouldn't be caught dead with a Micheal Koors bag.

This doesn’t really apply to that posting but one benefit to working for the federal government,…. the spouse cannot stay on the federal insurance plan once the divorce is finalized. Dependent kids yes, spouse no. Not sure for anyone else if it really costs much, if anything to carry the ex-spouse on the health plan.

In such a circumstance, as the man, I would literally be saving every nickel until I had enough money to live the rest of my life in Thailand, Ecuador, Eastern Europe, Mexico, or any other cheap place. And then I’d just up and disappear forever. I personally consider lifetime alimony the same as slavery or indentured servitude, both of which are illegal in this country. Yet lifetime alimony is not?
