Save the message, don't respond. If she threatens suicide call the police or local crisis center group, have them document and investigate, or at least do a welfare check. Nothing counts if the proper authorities don't document it.

Manipulation and gaslighting 101. Save the text messages and video record as much as possible when dealing with her crazy outburst. Don’t worry about the consequences get divorced and save yourself. Just a FYI no matter how much of a bad person you might be able to prove, it might not help in the divorce proceedings so just do your best to get through the process as quick and painless as possible. I would raise that with your lawyer, because it suggests potential risk to the child. Either harm from witnessing the mother commit suicide, or risk of the mother turning her spiteful aggression towards the kid. It's highly unlikely the courts would look at her threats/statements favorably, she'd probably be ordered to seek therapy of some kind.

As far as how it impacts custody arrangements, the only person who can tell you that with a definitive answer, is the judge you happen to get on the day of the hearing, or the person that the judge delegates the decision making to.

Sounds like your ex is controlling and now she is losing control so she is throwing anything she can out there to make you do what she wants you to do. Controlling people even when they are about to lose everything because of their actions they can't help themselves they make things worse

Document....Document ....Document. keep your texts, record whatever you can. Do not interigat your kids though. It is in your kids best interest not to be with someone who would do something like that or even threaten it.

Unfortunately, the courts are not in favor of men, but the more BS she spews out, and the more unstable she appears the less likely they will be to give her more custody/days than you.

Just do what ever you need to do to keep your kids safe. If it gets to be a dangerous situation for your kids your attorney should request a change of custody immediately. Obviously this would be temporary until a final divorce agreement is ironed out, but at least it will be a better environment for your kids and gives the courts a clearer picture of what is going on.

If she’ll kill herself just to hurt you, then she has no moral barrier to also killing the kids. They are not safe with her.
