Hi Everyone,

In live in Minnesota and my wife and I are going through a tough divorce. 22 year marriage, one adult child and one still at home.

We are going into our third mediation session in a few weeks and my family is encouraging me to sit down with my wife and talk about things, however my attorney is saying I shouldn't

The attorneys are not talking and I'm concerned that if we don't have some dialogue on expectations that the next session is not going to be successful and we will head to court.

Have any of you discussed expectations with your STBXW when your attorney says not to?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
