Sounds like the playbook they all go by. It back fired on her though cause the small town laughed at her. I ended up leaving entirely cause it was just too high stress to live with.

Do what I did when my exwife would try that sh1t.

"Do you have evidence of this? If you do, then you definitely need to submit it to court." I had to show my kids that there was no proof of any of these outlandish claims she was making.

And the Pendente Lite order? She wants money while you're in the process of divorcing. There will be a motions hearing. Explain "why does she need money? She's still living with you.

Btw your daughter is 25 so she either knows the truth already and if it is not true as you say…then why would it bother you. If anything your daughter should see right through it and be on your side.

Mine did a lot worse and nothing….alienation, bad mouthing. The only thing that got attention was she refused to pay tuition.

If you are lucky you may get a hearing date. My case has 5 motions for order PL most over a year old. Only one got a hearing which has not even been heard and both attorneys are now trying to avoid the hearing.

CT courts are broken. Motions are not heard or ignored. Lawyers make fees in CT by filing but Ct court will not act or at least not for a long time.
