About two months ago my wife assaulted me in front of our toddler and then drove off with him unrestrained. I called police and she was arrested and then CPS entered our life. I’ve been living in a separate place since this happened and in the meantime my wife packed up our house and disappeared with our son to a different county. She told me I couldn’t see him unless I set up a mediation. I immediately got a lawyer instead and filed for divorce. Yesterday I finally saw him but she’s since enrolled him in a different school. She seems convinced he will be living with her and I’ll have to drive every day to see him despite me being the primary one in raising him. I have videos of her assaulting me over the years as well as her documented affair where she took our son around her then affair partner’s son.

I’ve been going crazy because at the moment she has the upper hand. He’s living with her and, because she has the more stable career, she’s painting this narrative that his future is in her hands.
