My kid came over to talk about his Air Force application. We spent the night working on his sister's dirt bike trying to get it started. We are almost there. I took him to lunch and we watched the Blue Angles documentory. It was good times. The one thing he said that will stick with me was "I don't understand why Mom divorced you. Was it just so she can go drink and party." I told him we had some issues and she wasn't happy. She needed to go find what is going to make he happy and I wasn't included.

I questioned my value to my family during the divorce. Was I good father to my kids? I think I just got my answer.

And I think the EX and I are better now living apart.
