Despite my (43m) divorce process closing in on 2 years without resolution I’ve managed to keep my head above water financially in part because I’ve maintained/improved my credit score since she left. Having a score above 800 has allowed me to secure loans and pay off debts. Not much is within my control right now, but making smart financial decisions is one thing I can do. I look forward to the day I have more play/hobby/travel money after my divorce is final. Anyway, just wanted to share something positive today.
