OK, I am a fella that draws from the experiences from others who have "been there, done that". What is Finding-A-Lawyer 101? I live in the Houston area and hear I need to understand, legally, what I am getting into by filing. I think that I have approached that "enough is enough" point. I am the sole bread-winner and only source of retirement. She wanted to be a stay-home Mom to raise the kids (mine with her) and a step-son. So, I was Mr. Nice-guy and said SURE. I also have a military retirement I will start to draw in about 1.5 years..

We have been through many a couple of years of counseling, but getting tired of walking on eggshells with her. It seems I say things wrong or don't do enough connection stuff and the latest episode last month when she hung up on me telling me she was "worried about me because I wasn't home", I tell her I am in the parking lot at my School of Rock where I have my guitar lesson and band rehearsal. If someone is really concerned, they don't f'ing hang up on you.. "just a small part of the overall story but for me, I believe this is the straw that broke my camel's back...
