When I was a child, getting married and having children some day seemed like my ultimate goal in life. Growing up religious added to this as well.

A few years ago, I discovered the manosphere and after a few years reading TRP and watching videos from the dating coaches, I've been completely turned off relationships with men. The way the manosphere views women and advises men to treat them is both sickening and heartbreaking in equal amounts. I can't imagine why men who follow this ideology would even want to be involved with women, given how much hatred there seems to be.

These ideas are becoming more and more mainstream, even young guys are speaking the language of TRP fluently and often don't realise it. I can't go a single day without hearing about 'muh biased family courts', 'female nature', 'alimony and divorce rape', etc. It doesn't matter if what they are saying is complete horse shit, their male friends say it and some dating coach said it? It's indisputable truth. The cult mentality is so strong, they can't be pulled out of it no matter how many statistics or evidence to the contrary you show them.

I just find myself increasingly turned off the idea of being with a man at all knowing he may be harbouring these ideas. It'd still be nice to have kids, but I literally feel sick now at the thought of marriage/dating.

Anyone else experienced this?
