How is that a bad thing? Why should people who are miserable together stay miserable when they have an option to separate and find new partners?

Not only is this false, but also men usually 'lose' custody these days because they do not want to care for their children. The 1950s are long gone, buddy. Unless there is a really good reason, the family courts will generally be in favour of shared custody.

Here's another shocking fact, you better sit down: 60% of CEOs are white middle and upper-class men despite the fact that 80% of the world's population is neither white nor middle and upper class, nor male. Well, a lot of their stats are bullshit. And hypergamy is ultimate bullshit.

But let's say some stats are true, because sometimes they are. Stats only really matter if you're randomly selecting something.

Are you randomly selecting partners? I hope not. Use some good judgment bro.

Here is one truth though, and it's not a red pill truth, just a fact of humanity. Finding a good partner and having a healthy, longterm relationship is tough to find and tough to maintain. Most people aren't going to succeed. If you want a guarantee of success, you won't get it.

short answer: By making your own research and finding out about the research that contradicts TRP, as well as researching TRP original sources to see if they back up what they claim it does.

You mention for instance that women rate 80 percent of men as below average. But did you know that same data also showed that over half of the messages/responses women send are to those "below average" men as well?

You mention that 50 percent of marriages end in divorce but did you know that dosen't mean the average probability of divorce is 50 percent when you control for all the potential factors that lead to divorce? If you're educated, at least medium income, coming from a stable household your personal probability for divorce is probably very low.

You can't really say you believe any of that TRP theory unless you yourself have checked the original sources and have made the actual research yourself to see if it's true or not and have learned to accurately interpret data, etc.

With the rise of researchgate and sci hub there's no excuse to not research any of these claims.

That's why there's a sticky post in this sub (First Aid Kit) with plenty of scientific papers contradicting TRP. It is undeniable that TRP is at least not as right or straightforward as they want you to believe. And that's just a very small collection of the research me and others have done.

Stats don't back up RP, stats show us numbers which meaning TRP twists to fit its narrative.

90% of custody cases aren't decided by courts. Furthermore, men are less likely to be the primary caregivers during marriage, which makes judges and mediators less likely to favor men as primary caregivers after divorce.
As of 2020, only 9% of men and 3% of women were using dating apps or websites. Such a skewed gender ratio gives women a huge advantage over men.
Only 7% of men messaged a match compared to 21% of women. Men swipe right on a high number of profiles to filter women afterwards. Much of the interest women receive on dating apps is an illusion.

CEOs are more likely to be tall, but I fail to see how this is related to women. Attractive people with dominant presence tend to be promoted faster at work. I'm not sure that the ones doing the promotions are hypergamous women.

Maybe have a healthy level of skepticism and be critical when reading these. These studies use scientific methods to find the truth about our world our society. And continue reading and learning. If you stop at 50%marriage end in divorce. You learn nothing from it. Find why, and what makes the rest of them succeed. Are there repeat divorces? Etc. CEO are 6ft tall. Are companies trying to compete with girraffe? What makes a CEO qualities and qualifications etc. Online dating, the stats tell you that that mode of dating is poor then why not try social circle or friends help to find a match. Or find a date offline.

Can't you see this isn't your thinking but a systemic brainwashing you have been subject to.

Do you get upset like this over data. I don't see you worrying about road accident stats. Cancer stats or crime stats etc out of these the latter category are imminent threat to your life. But your will to experience life doesn't let you dwell on these stats.

Try seeing the value of the things and privileges already have, the gifts. You are not 6ft tall but you can stand on your feet and not in a wheelchair. You may be single now but atleast you are not having emotional troubles of being in a relationship with a bad girlfriend.

Statistics shouldn't exist without interpretation and analysis. Any idiot can throw out a fact and use it for whatever means necessary. That's why religion can cause so much good and so much bad in the world. You could take any single line from any Holy Book and use it to your advantage but that's never what should be done. Context should be considered. Interpretation and analysis are important. Critical thinking is important. Asking WHY is important.

There is a lot more nuance to the divorce rates. For example, the average rate for college educated couples is around 15-20%. The rate is a lot higher for second/third marriages in general.

Plus, around 80 to 90% of divorces don’t end in divorce court and are settled through mediation.

What you're quoting here is RP entry level stuff that's designed to be true enough to reel you in. It's not the entry to RP that's the issue, it's what follows.

All of these results are highly complex and non-univariate systems. And they're not female specific either. Allow me to follow up with some selective and super non-sexy analysis.

50% marriages end in divorce

Yes, lots of divorces, the need for the atomic family is less strict than it used to be. Add to that a society that often times rates individualism and hedonism over duty and responsibility you'll see an increase here.

Lots of people get married for the wrong reasons. More access to alternatives are available and presented to us even while we're married.

Don't forget that divorces are non-unique with respect to to divorcees, i.e. if I stay married, I am unable to get divorced, but if I get divorced, I can get divorced again, and again.

A more meaningful statistic would be indexed by divorcees, not individual divorces, since it's not a one-to-one mapping and series offenders will clutter the data.

I think this is an online dating based statistic, and within this context it's correct from what I understand. Online dating, social media, porn, ... poisons expectations and self perception on both sides.

Usually it's inflated/deflated value for women and men, respectively. Neither is great, both (should) turn people off.

I am surprised it's only 3x. Lots of guys stick to the "spray and pray" strategy. Again, this will hugely clutter your data. That being said, yes, women tend to be approached more often than men. It's just the way it is.
