For the record I’m 5’8, not really short and not tall. So I never really was red pilled but this seems like a good place to come to for suggestions. I recently became aware of the height issue from the internet and it’s really been messing with me. For one, some women are openly hateful about the height of men, I’m not talking about preferences but more like the shit saying men under six feet should just die and shit. It’s easy to find women making fun of short guys, which in turn makes me feel less sympathetic to their body image issues. Now I’m a fairly good looking in the face kinda guy and have noticed plenty of positive attention from women over the years. I’ve always had high anxiety, childhood ptsd that I’m just now being honest with myself about and trying to grow from it, so basically I’ve had no confidence to make anything happen ever. Now that I’m getting to the point that I wanna start dating this height thing is getting me anxious. I’ve just seen to much shit on the internet about women getting made fun of for being with short dudes or regretting being with them or other negative experiences. I’ve seen some positive anecdotes as well though. So basically I feel paranoid about entering a relationship, like my girl would secretly resent my height or her friends would talk about it. I’m sure I’ll hear someone suggest how important confidence is and that is mainly what I’m trying to instill and embody is true confidence and self love, but in the back of my mind is this anxiety about relationships and the idea of just pursuing women for sex cause I won’t fit their masculine image for a relationship anyway. So there’s a lot of confirmation bias influencing these thoughts but with that their is truth to the notion as well. So I don’t know what I expect any of you to say or suggest so I guess I’ll just leave it at that
