No I asked you who did the buying, as you're over here declaring that women sell their emotional labor. You fell into a hole of your own logic, which is internally flawed. If hetero women sell love, then it must be hetero men who are buying. In fact, according to your logic, men are the only market available.

Are you familiar with a boycott? The power lies in the hands of the buyer, not the seller. The seller has a thing but needs money. The buyer has the money but wants the thing. IDGAF if the "thing" is sex/a relationship, or Chick-fil-A. If you don't agree with the seller's practices, don't buy.

Either way, that's not how this all works anyway. Emotional labor inside a relationship is to be spent freely, but only when both parties do so. Its called "being thoughtful and considerate".

You clearly have a hard time seeing women as being as fully and completely human as you are and you also clearly see their sex and its potential value to you before you see their humanity. Fucking stop. Its creepy as hell.

Stop assigning traits to only women that apply to everyone. Everyone expends emotional labor on people who expend it on them and grow resentful when their emotional labor is not reciprocated. Everyone appreciates gifts from their partner. Everyone appreciates when people think kindly of them or offer them protection or support. That you only see men as offering those things is another sign of deeply held mysogyny.

Think of women as people. Human beings, just like you. You clearly are not.

By not succumbing to those feelings like you have in this thread.

Your responses betray a lack of sense, some irrationality...they're too general.

Low effort responses that provoke reactions, because you don't have a fleshed out idea yet....

That's your FEELINGS pushing those reactions out. Slow down, think a bit more about what people are giving you, think more about what you want to respond with, and double check that how you want to respond is the best way to convey your thoughts without dragging some feelings into it.

You might have some baser desires, or simpler ideas that we can address. It's impractical to state the faults of the world and find a solution..

It's not just impractical, its a method of repelling responsibility for your thoughts and feelings... "It's women's fault, and women won't change..."

As a man you should ignore your feelings

I wrote "That's your FEELINGS pushing those reactions out".

You can feel what you want. But if you don't try to recognise what you're feeling, and lead with reactionary comments instead...you're not really going to be making helpful comments, because they're driven by emotion rather than thought.

Women generally talk through their emotions with others to gain insight into their actions and how it is influenced by their behaviour. Reasons they did things. Reasons other things happened without having their emotionally driven perspective affect their judgement (I'm not saying it always works, just like I wouldn't say men keeping their thoughts to themselves always works).

Some men don't need to share their thoughts, they somehow have enough knowledge to analyse a situation regardless of how they feel, BECAUSE they don't let their emotions impact their thoughts.

But this is the 'ideal man', generally, A LOT OF MEN don't have this ability, even though they want to believe they do.

So instead of somehow absorbing the ability to actually remain impartial through cultural osmosis, we can give men practical tools to recognise how they come to make judgements, and hopefully they don't spit out reactionary shit that 9/10 times just loses the point entirely, defeating their ability to address the problem they have because now it's too hard and everyone else is to blame

Adapting to change is the way we survive... but it's in our nature to keep things how they are, to achieve success using the paths our parents taught us...because they worked before.

People need to die so that some of these unchanging paths die too. You alluded to these paths when you said in your other post

If a man lacks empathy his society taught him to do that and he eventually accepted that this is how it has to be

We can change things, but change is always violent. And even if I believe one way of change is vital, someone else will come and prove me wrong.

However, I know keeping things as they are just continues the problems some people already have. If I want a good life, and I want my children to have a good life, it makes sense to want a good life for others that live in my society
