If Brad Pitt lived on a Desert island he wouldn't get a girlfriend either no matter how attractive he was because he isn't meeting any women. If you rarely meet single women then you might as well live on a desert island when it comes to dating.

With that said, it doesn't sound like you are particularly trying? Real life isn't a rom com, you're usually not going to bump into someone on the street.

Honey, you have to get out more. Are you in any clubs at school?

Also, do you groom yourself well? Do you have a good skincare routine? A flattering haircut, or clean hair if you keep it long? Are your clothes clean and do they fit you well?

I think chances that ”there is something wrong with you” are quite slim.

But getting a gf is not easy. Granted, it's much easier if you're kind and respectful, but those are just baseline qualities that will get you through the door.

If you're "kind" to get a gf, women will smell it a mile away. Be a kind person just because it's Tuesday. Talk to girls just because you want to share a common interest. Not every interaction has to be romantic, platonic ones are great practice. Relax.

Put yourself out there, be respectfully forward, because no diamond shines in the dark. I know it's hard. You'll face rejection, and that's okay, we all do. But you'll get the hang of it.

Do you want a girlfriend? You shouldn't do what other people want you to do or because it's what everyone else is doing. You don't have to date if it's not something you're interested in right now. It is not an indication that there's something wrong with you.

If you do want a girlfriend, you have to put yourself in places where you might meet other people and then also have conversations with them to find what you have in common. If you like gaming and think having a gamer girlfriend might be cool, start looking into ways to meet women like that, either online or in person. If parting in the city isn't for you, then finding a girl who likes partying in the city probably isn't going to be the right match. You need to put some effort into cultivating friendships with people (both men and women) at work, in classes, and in hobbies you have an interest in. Trying new hobbies is also a good way to learn new stuff, become more interesting to talk to, and meet people.

Dating isn't easy and it isn't easy for everyone, not just men. It's also not inherent - people aren't born knowing how to date; it takes practice. We should always be polite and kind to others because it's the right thing to do and creates a better world for everyone, but there is no one-to-one exchange that says since you were a decent human being, you earn a girlfriend (though if you are a jerk, it is likely to result in the opposite outcome). Cultivating and maintaining relationships takes time and effort and practice. If that sounds like a lot of hassle right now, that's okay too. You just can't expect a girlfriend to appear if you don't put yourself in a position to meet them or get to know them.

Be more strategic, I think. School counts. Counts as apart of your day where you encounter new people who could become friends or romantic partners. But aside from school, sounds like you have not built a life that entails much incidental encountering of other people.

So that points at 1 of 2, or both solutions.

You gotta "get out there" somehow, so if you don't want to socialize IRL we do have dating apps. Many straight men especially find them exasperating, and yet people keep using them and meeting partners on them so.

THe other is to build a schedule where you do incidentally just encounter new people. Volunteering, game night, sports league, politics, activism, church stuff, IDK what your flavor is. I think for autistics especially it could be very valuable to pick an activity that has a designated time/date, and so your weekly routine involves "Wednesday is bingo night" or whatever. And then when you are in that space that is in your life for almost no other reason than to meet people, put your best personable hand forward, introduce yourself to people, consider trying to create "after" events, like "hey after the meeting how bout we get a cup of coffee" or whatever.
