You need a different “strategy.” Actually - my best advice to you is to STOP thinking of making a connection with someone as a GAME that needs a strategy. That’s unnatural and frankly creepy. In general people don’t just want to go out and meet someone that messaged them on the internet that day or the next. Especially without hitting it off. Actually, I personally wouldn’t even want to do that with someone I liked in their first impression. I’d give it time to show reg flags like a lot of people do.

Please stop listening to your “gut” since your gut is generalizing other people to a set of negative traits. Your gut is insecure and that’s going badly for you, and as long as you are it will continue to be toxic in whatever relationship you get in .

There are terrible people everywhere especially in the dating scene. People are being cautious and they want to feel a potential connection before going out most times. And remember with women we tend to be extra cautious because of well, guys that are insecure/have anger issues/try to hide their true selves by rushing into things or love bombing tend to be dangerous.

No lol. I tried that "texting only for logistics" thing. From my experience that advice is given by PUAs that are out of touch boomers. Texting is a fantastic tool to get to know potential partners. We are a very online generation, so we use that to communicate. It should, of course, eventually lead to in person dates. But it doesn't only have to be for that. Some girls may find you "mysterious" for doing that. Others may just find you dull/boring for being so unresponsive.

can you explain why you think women would be attracted to people who put as little effort as possible in? this is the part of your post i am most stuck on tbh.

i have never personally known a woman who would go on a date with a strange man without at least a few days of casual texting. i am 100% sure they exist but in my experience they aren't common at all.

You're optimizing for quantity over quality, and getting poor results because of it. The best relationships I've had have been with people with whom I could have in-depth text conversations and an actual connection. Worst have generally been the ones who put little to no effort into carrying a conversation.

If you're not good at texting, then yeah, maybe logistics only is for the best, but it sounds like you'd prefer an actual connection first.

You're a stranger to them, of COURSE they're all going to think you're a weirdo. Your behavior is weirdo behavior. Going to meet strangers like that is how women get murdered. No sane woman would respond well to this strategy.

If you match with someone on tinder, chat with them for a while first, for christ's sake. Ask them what they do for work, what their hobbies are, yada yada. Once you've got a BASE understanding of them as a person, it'd be appropriate to send a "Hey, I really like talking to you, I'd love to get together sometime if you're interested". And please don't hit on women on LinkedIn, that is so sad.

I'm 25F and texting back and forth at least for a day or two is mandatory for me with online dating. It shows they're actually interested in me as a person and not just looking for easy sex. Your theory about low-effort being attractive is so backwards to me. I WANT SOME EFFORT. I never swipe right on a person with no bio on dating apps, because, to me, that says, "I want to get laid and put as little effort into doing it as possible". It is NOT attractive.

Putting in effort is not needy. It's endearing. As long as you're not being obsessive, effort is pretty much always a good thing. If you want to text her, text her. If she texts you, text back! Don't wait some arbitrary amount of time so that you look aloof, just message her back when you can. Match her energy, be genuine, and be kind.
