There are absolutely ways to fight back against a lot of the unfair things in life. And they are things that don't involve becoming a manipulative asshole / materially harming yourself and the relationships in your life.

Some things can't be changed, in many ways life is just in inherently unfair. But there are things that can be changed, if not for us then laying the groundwork for the society that comes after us. It's just that TRP ain't it.

(Many options ain't it, it depends which things you want to combat and why, but there are definitely healthy and unhealthy methods - and TRP is definitely unhealthy).

Detoxing is realizing that reality is much more nuanced to fit in some "system". Be grateful and realize there are good things and be resilient and deal gracefully with the bad things.

It seems like every really shitty and extremely stupid ideology that exists tries to justify or dismiss it's shittiness and it's extremely loud stupidity by saying "Oh, I'm just upset at the system*".* The red pill is a great example of one of these shitty and stupid ideologies.

The marketing and PR tactic of making you feel like you're taking on the vaguely defined "system" is a pretty damn effective one and I wish people would wise up to it.

That tactic is what convinces Leftists to abstain from voting and participating in politics, it's what convinces the homeopaths to funnel coffee up their own assholes (I'm not exaggerating either, google "coffee enema"!), It's what encourages the Multi-level marketer go into debt spending thousands of dollars on useless merchandise and makes them insufferable to their friends and family, and what makes the red-piller so mindlessly hateful towards certain groups of people and what makes them suicidally depressed and addicted.

Detoxing from the red pill isn't "realizing you can't do anything and just accepting shit", that's the type of shitty and stupid black and white thinking you've been programmed into thinking. Anyone telling you that making healthy and positive decisions for yourself is just a way of "submitting to the system" isn't about making effective and positive systemic change, they are just trying to fuck you over for their own gain.

The fact that I can't do anything about the system is what makes me mad at it. It's a rigged, unfair, and broken system, why would I accept a broken system?
