I personally believe that It doesn’t get stopped because on some level most men “understand”. They also don’t want a light shed on their indulgences, once people start poking around, all the trash will start to be uncovered.

I just think we all secretly know the truth. For example, my dream has always been to adopt older black girls who languish in the system, give them a good home. Do you know how many women said it was “dangerous” for me to get married if I wanted to adopt because men couldn’t be trusted around girls who weren’t their blood relatives? And they told me to give up my dream of adoption and just have my own children. Of course, they also warned that was no guarantee. I’ve actually had women say to me that they check their daughters’ rooms at night just to be sure their husbands aren’t in there if he isn’t in bed. Throw the whole species away.

Not only is it not being as widely and openly vilified, but we now have actual advocacy groups and activism for the “humanization” and destigmatization of p-dophiles, that despite being mostly comprised of p-dos themselves, are actually getting some traction and support from psychologists and other behavioral scientists.

Nothing enrages and sickens me more. What a fucked up society to even begin to lend a sympathetic ear to this vileness.

I threw up.

My grandma warns my cousin about leaving her 2 pre-teen daughters to stay overnight with friends where there are males in the household. She says they find ways to sneak undetected to fiddle with children and seem to be born with skills to mess with their minds so the kids may never tell you.

I think a protected childhood and absence of similar threats can make you think it's all exaggeration coming from a person who was brought up in what you viewed as more puritan times with religiously motivated shaming of women for men's immorality. Older women's truth is discredited by men and naively ignorant women believe that.

Because good morals were imbued in us and our lack of desire to abuse, for a long time my cousin and I projected the same qualities off men without knowing them. It took me a while to realise grandma was not shaming the girls but the men, with reason. She has seen them do it over and over again in her time.
