What is up with the daddy thing? I was in a horrible situationship for a year and he tried referring to himself as daddy once. I said you are not my daddy and I don’t want to be talked to like that. He apologized and didn’t say it again for 10 or so months and then when he became erratic and drinking excessively towards the end of us, he reverted back to the behavior. Me: how’s work going?” “Daddy’s hard at it today.” I was disgusted but let it slide as a joke (Pickmeisha). But then a few days later he became more vulgar in texts and asking me to send him sexy pics and said “put on that sexy dress for daddy”. I was in mourning from my grandfather’s death. I was stressed and depressed and he knew it because he had just abandoned me in a shocking and quick way by moving across the country without warning. I said to not speak to me that way or something but tried to be nice and lighthearted about it. He then said, “put the fucking dress on for me then”.

I was so fucked up at that time mentally, under his spell because I loved him. His dad left the family when he was young and he is definitely not over it, drinks too much. Just wondering if anyone has insight. I still worry about this person and feel a bad that my last words to him, before blocking everywhere, were that he was abusive, alcoholic and just like his father.

Edit: the dress he wanted me to put on was a basic black shift dress that I was planning to wear to the funeral.

Same thing happened to me on a dating app. He obviously had his initials. So within the 3rd or 4th text I sent him, I asked his name, he responded with «call me zaddy». I never blocked and reported so fast! I really hope he got banned from the app.
