It's not just the age group.

I've dated guys into their mid-30s. Most LVM flat-out never stop doing this.

Yep, pre-FDS I definitely found myself in a lot of “vibes”. I’m halfway through my 20s, and it doesn’t seem like there are many HVM out there - but they are out there. On the bright side, you’re certainly lucky to know about FDS so early in your dating life. It’ll save you a lot of BS.

I have a friend who is an American expat in Japan and she explained how bad the online dating game is. She explained it to me and I was like "nah dog, that's how it is in America, too. It's a global phenomenon."

Also lmost 30, and same. I feel like when I was in college it was a little less like that. Guys still thought they had to have a real relationship then realized after that they could use dating apps like sexual pizza delivery.

I found it much easier to meet people in my early 20s. There were a lot of confused boys who couldn't figure out commitment but there were also a lot who knew they wanted to be in a committed relationship.

But then dating apps happened. And now I'm in my early 30s and finding a guy who wants to be in a committed, monogamous relationship is like finding hen's teeth. Dating apps have changed attitudes drastically. So I'm not surprised that women of all ages are having a hard time dating. Dating apps really fucked everything up.

I’m 24. Haven’t dated anyone in a year and a half. I haven’t experienced this “vibe” nonsense first hand but that sounds awful. I haven’t bothered with the dating scene and don’t think I will for a while because it is so annoying. I’ve got much better things to do with my time and energy than mess around with this “vibe” crap. The only other type of guys around where I live are involved with religion and are really sexually repressed and weird about the most normal things. My friends and family are always telling me to go on dates and put myself out there, but the thought of dealing with all of these immature losers and wasting my time on them sickens me. It’s annoying because I do know some good guys, but they’re all married, so... I don’t know where the non-married good guys are hiding.

It's definitely bad. They act like this because women let them get away with it so they have no incentive to step up. You don't change what you're comfortable with. Someone on another post mentioned girls who are fwb with guys while still looking for a relationship by dating other guys are in a negative feedback cycle, since those same guys are fwb with other girls. It's a web; women as a collective need to untangle themselves out of it to see any change. So many guys are mad at FDS bc they know it's making the web lose volume.

Everyone is having a hard time. Online dating is a cess pool and I don’t go out often enough. Even ppl who do go out often dont find some one who is HV

I just find guys my age so boring and predictable at this point. Conversations, dates, mindset, it's all the same. It's not because I am going after a certain "type", they literally all talk and act the same.

I am going to start dating 30+ cause I am tired of being bored to tears with boys in their 20s.
