This might be controversial, I don't know but anyway.

Sunday today and I was relaxing in my garden, soaking up some sun with a hot chocolate and I thought: Do you ladies ever think how it would be if say tonight, ALL men just disappeared? Just stopped existing. Can you imagine the freedom? Going out when we want, as late as we want, dressed as we want. Of course there would still be SOME level of danger still but nowhere near the danger we are in now, with men still around.

First thing I would do, is just wake up at 3am and go for a walk with my dogs. Just imagine the feeling of knowing there is no one to harm you! You are FREE to walk around without keys in your fingers, without constantly being afraid for your safety, without being followed, without turning your head to see who's there behind you, etc. Imagine NOT having to explain to your preteen or teen daughter the dangers of being alone at night and to avoid it because there would be almost none! Imagine teenage girls walking around ALL NIGHT, having fun with their friends without fear!

Women have been used to acting like this for SO many years, it has become second nature to us. It's second nature to me to constantly be 100% alert and in survival mode when I'm out in the evening (not even late, we're talking 19.00-20.00) to walk my dogs. It's so ingrained in us, this behaviour, this feeling of danger that it feels utopian that we could live in a world that it won't be needed anymore and you can actually walk around free of fear. It's so sad.
