Greetings ladies. I wanted to post a serious question along with something I experienced last month, I hope this this will be informative to the reader.

Last month around this time, I went on vacation with my mother and my younger brother. We went to the Poconos which was an awesome experience! I went canoeing for the first at the age of 22 (I’m a city girl, don’t judge). As my family and I sat by the lake on some chairs gazing at the beautiful landscape, a guy wearing swimming trunks and a t-shirt comes up to us. He says hi to all of us, and he tells me that my hair looks nice and I reply with “thank you”. He continued to speak to me, and ask different kinds of questions, from this I can see he wants to get to know me. During this conversation, he says that I have a beautiful smile, so of course I can tell he wanted something other than a regular conversation. He asks for my number but I declined and gave him my Instagram instead, I just don’t give my phone number to anyone.

I don’t know if this detail matters, but this guy was Jewish. I’ve never spoke to a Jewish person on a one on one level, and I always thought Judaism was such a mysterious religion because in my opinion Jewish people are a very tight knit community who don’t speak to outsiders that much.

So we keep in touch on the remainder of my vacation. And girl….so many red flags! My intention was to simply meet someone new, not on a romantic level at all.

🚩🚩I gave an awkward laugh and said no thanks, and he asked if we can meet up later. I say sure why not. He goes “I’m a night owl so I only like to meet at night time”.

So throughout the time day I’m with my family doing various activities such as sports or walking in nature, not so much on my phone. He would initiate texts, because quite frankly I was put off by his misogynistic ‘jokes’.

He asks to meet with me, so we met at the hotel lobby that I was staying in on the last day of my stay there. No he didn’t know which room I was in. This time he’s wearing thereligiois uniform what a lot of Hasidic Jewish people wear, so I’m asking him questions about his faith and what his thoughts are on certain topics in regards to some politics, simply to get to know more about him and the Jewish faith

🚩🚩🚩 When it was his turn to get to know me, all this guy had was weird questions with sex undertones: “Would you ever have a one night stand?” “What are your fantasies?” “Oh wow, you must be asexual since you won’t answer my question”. All these weirdo questions made me ask him

Me: “So why did you approach me?” Scrote: “Because I thought you were the hottest girl at the lake and I hoped that I could have sex with you since we’re both here on vacation, you know the saying “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?”

Bitch, when I tell you I felt like an idiot for giving this LVM my TIME! Btw there was a lot of gaslighting when I wouldn’t give into his sick questions based off my boundaries that were in place. We both said goodnight to each other, I made sure he left first and I went back to my hotel room. The day next day on my way home, I made sure to block his IG.
