When I started dating my ex, he had a well paying job. That ended a few months or so in and I found out he hadn't saved up much to help him look for another.

No diploma. No GED.

A guyfriend helped him get that job, but when he asked for better work in the company, they stopped calling him. No drivers license at the time either. 🙄 His friend drove them.

I was with this guy for three years and the only other job he got was four hrs a day, five days a wk, and within his dad's company. He had that job for maybe a year...and I had to drive him there. 🤦‍♀️ I know...I know. Don't worry. Never again.

I would regularly ask him about him getting his GED and then a job after he was laid off from that one. Ladies, they said they removed his job from their budget. Later on, they brought it back. 🤷‍♀️

He was a choosing beggar about jobs. Said a GED didn't matter but then would get all self deprecating while swiping idly through Indeed, so I would drop it.

He was a massive NVM. The kind of scrub described in the song. Spent the money he made on junk and I should have known he would because he had told me he was bad with money early on.
