Something to consider. Personally, I do not accept a guy making dinner. That is so cheap of him. I need a proper date where you spend money and I am not at your place.
Maybe, if he is my fiance/husband, he can do that, but not when dating. It puts the bar really low. Now they'll think you're ok with this low effort.
