I've been thinking about friendship a lot, and see a lot of pickme there. Maybe if I give a present, or buy a drink or meal, or do a favor, they'll give too. But they didn't. Smiling faces don't mean they're on your side. I had a "friend" who turned out to be a sneaky sadist, but it didn't affect me until I looked back, still doesn't cause she's gone, but I see how she tried to create drama with someone too dense to get the clue. Now she's just a fucked up narc. Friendly people aren't your friends. They have to be vetted too.

I have to say, I'm leveling up in my friendships. It's easier to see who's a real friend and make some decisions.
