Its mind boggling to me that we are back to the MOST basic dating concept. After everything women have been through and fought for we now need to relearn "men dont buy the cow when they are getting the milk for free"? Really?!
Wake up ladies, STOP giving your bodies away for free! I dont care how you label it, FWB, open relationship, no labels, polyamory, casual sex, NSA, etc, etc, it's all the same shit, win win for the boys, lose lose for the girls.
A woman inspired the Taj Mahal. Now we cant even get a happy meal out of a dude? How did we fall so far?
i hate how the comments are all like 'well, this happened to me and now he's my long-term bf! don't listen to advice from the internet because everything's different!' great, truth debunked!
uh...it's true more often than not that the person trying to have a label-free relationship is doing so because they don't care enough about the other person or like them enough to commit to. obviously there are exceptions because there are exceptions to literally everything. what do we get out of denying the obvious? it's a 'generalization' for a reason
And how great are those relationships? Do we really want to be with men that were never 100% excited and in love with us? Does it feel good to be with a man that barely 'settled' for you?
The only reason women end up in these "situationships" is because they are too desperate to see the writing on the wall for what it is. Women are incredibly good at lying to themselves. Stop doing this! Short term pain can save you serious longterm heartbreak. If a man is into you, you will know it, there will be ZERO doubt. Get your self esteem to a place where you can walk away without feeling like you are cutting off your right arm just because some loser isnt in love with you.
And my number one advice... stop having sex with men that dont love you. Full stop.
Yeah, I had some of those "no love" casual sex and I have to say... when you also aren't attached, it can be boring. When you are attached, you just get attached more while he still won't invest in a relationship he isn't into since the very beginning.
yep. i've done this multiple times, thought i could get them to be more into me, be in a relationship with me, etc. it never happens. usually they're avoiding being in an official relationship with you because they just don't want one with you, period, even if they're cool with having sex with you. because sex doesn't mean much to them or make them feel much, generally. obviously not all guys, but most. unless you're just as detached as they are - which you're not, because if you're thinking about it, it's because you're not detached - 99% of the time you're gonna ultimately be disappointed
Once women as a whole learn this fact and really internalize it we can finally take our power back. But until then ladies, they win.
And the biggest lie is this FWB bullshit....what benefits are we getting ladies? And is he really your "freind"? Is he there for you when you are sick? Does he show up and help you out in a pinch if you need a ride or someone to fix your broken window? I'm guessing not, so ya, great friend. 🙄
i've heard that men get shamed for committing to "easy women" (by both men and women) so there's a society problem here. One side is promoting hook up culture and for everyone to do it, and the other side is shaming all those who partake in it. It's disgusting.
Society is a tragic hot mess. Being well adjusted to a sick society does not make you a healthy person. Stay true to only yourself. Give your body only to men that prove themselves to you, are committed to you and love you. The rest is just noise.
Then you do you, give it away for free, your body, your choice, no skin off my knees. This probably isnt the sub for you, you might enjoy r/redpill though, you will love it there, they have a million little "strategies" on how to fuck you as fast as possible with as little investment as possible, you will have much more in common with their theories on sexuality....and in the future you might want to check the subreddit ideology before commenting.
Funny how our bodies and sexuality are "not commodities" when we demand our romantic and emotional needs get met in exchange for them, but "are commodities" when they are sold for money in pornography, prostitution and mass media. How convenient. 🙄
Know your worth ladies, you are worth more than diamonds! Crumbs wont cut it.
The problem is that while you may think it’s sexist this is how 80% of men think. So while you’re busy being “equal” they’re on TRP plotting on how to exploit you for all you’re worth. Deal with the world as it is, not how you wish it was.
Oh look, a man here defending FWB and casual sex! Color me shocked. 🙄
This isnt the sub for you, you cant post here. Get lost, we dont care about your "deep thoughts" on why casual sex is so beneficial to everyone involved....no shit you are all about easy, commitment free, effort free, investment free sex. Wont find it here, go get yourself a hooker....and dont let the door hit ya on the way out!
he unfortunately gets the distinction of being my first love, even as unrequited as it was on my end. i spent practically all of my time with him but he wouldn't give us any definition and my self esteem plummeted so badly during our years together. so i said "okay, this has been something (internally: something mean emotionally devastating, a test in how low my self esteem can get and physically demanding) but i want to be in an actual relationship with someone," and he was like, "why break up because i won't put a label on what we have? you're looking for something that might not exist over us?"
as in, being seen with you publicly and doing more than just sleeping over or getting drunk? hmm, yeah, that would be nice 🤔
turns out, years later, he's perfectly capable of labels as informed by social media. he just didn't want to be in a relationship with me because i wasn't worthy of a label in his opinion. men will commit and easily give a label when they want to, don't be fooled or give into mental gymnastics (aka lying to yourself).
I’ve walked away from two guys liked this and the first was PISSED and turned it around that I was manipulating him. lol how was letting him go manipulating him?! The second was confused as hell and then later turned it around to mean I wanted to be engaged. Lol just asked to go on some dates and be exclusive. * Watch out for their reaction. They’ll be manipulative and try to gaslight you and make you feel bad. I felt BAD that I had “manipulated” the first guy until I remembered I was the one who told him I couldn’t see him anymore and suggested friendship.
Not all men are like this. I refuse to buy into that agenda. But there ARE men who are like this so keep a level head and let them earn your trust.
This makes me laugh because I recently decided to start saying I'm looking for a no labels relationship. I have a good idea of what I want and that's what I'm looking for. I'm not going to settle for anything less than that. I really do not care what we call it from the get go.
I'm not liking how some guys will use whatever label you say you want to try and convince you that's what you two are or what he'll provide. I'm also not a fan of how some use the label "fwb" to mean "booty call", "one night stand", or "fuck buddy". Another pet peeve are the guys who want to be exclusive and call you their girlfriend right off the bat, which comes across as they'll take any girl they can get. It can end up being just another way of using you.
So my take is the quality of the relationship and whether its the type of relationship you want will always be more important than its "label".
The second you tell a guy you are looking for a "no labels" relationship they are going to instantly put you in the fuck buddy box, and there you will remain.

Top comment is about a guy she saw 5 days a week and he never called her his gf and he was seeing other girls the whole time.
She says it was “cheating” but it sounds like he never gave her the title so..
Anyway the point is, this is why days matter, if you aren’t seeing him every weekend that’s a red flag. Saturday does matter.
