This set up looks so uncomfortable.

I had a period where I was going through a very depressive phase and had just rented a house without furniture. I took months to buy me a sofa and I would just lay in bed. Until after these months I said "enough is enough" and bought me a nice sofa and other nice furniture to my living room. I can't fathom living like this, my back would hurt and the discomfort... nope.

So, when I first moved to an apartment, I only had a small sofa and a small living room table. The place looked empty and I felt lonely and missed my home even more. Then I got a new sofa,an armchair and rugs for the floor and they made all the difference. Maintaining a clean, comfortable living space is so incredibly important for people's mental health and productivity. My family bought the furniture for me. I understand most people aren't so lucky to have a family willing and able to support them, so I won't judge them, but if they live like in the picture because, " it takes little for them to be happy ", then I am sorry, I can't take you seriously as an adult.

I actually really appreciate minimalism and not owning a lot....but this isn’t minimalism. This is a visual representation of poverty of character. A completely empty room would look better than this. Those views deserve better than a Walmart folding chair, a shitty flatscreen TV and a gaming system
