I stopped buying GA tickets after a poor crowd experience years ago, and I hate that things seem to be becoming so much worse.

If you’re going to live music festivals and concerts, always stay in the back. It’s typically less crowded and you can be more hyper vigilant as you can see anyone who moves towards you better. Also it lowers your chances of being pushed into a mosh pit and being trampled over. Apparently at this concert, 8 people died and many were injured due to a crowd surge (a bunch of people collectively push forward into the crowd which can literally trample people).

This is really common for hip hop shows like this. I was at a hip hop show in on the West Coast and was almost trampled to death. Multiple people attempted to take off my top while in the crowd, was shoved around to the point of being covered in bruises, and had a friend ( a 6’4ft beefy male) had passed out before needing to be lifted out of the crowd. It was terrible. I couldn’t even stand on my two feet and was sandwiched almost horizontally between people due to the aggressiveness of the crowd

Not good. One of my favorite things is live music and my last experience just watching a band standing near someone who was overserved was bad enough. Nothing like lowest denominator men. UGH!

I just posted not a couple weeks ago about this happening in the UK, another user posted about the same thing happening in Denmark and now we're hearing it's happening in the US.

I don't know whether there are more reports or if this was the first incident of this, but suffice to say spiking by injection has occured there which means there are people(men) who have access to these things. I didn't expect to follow this but I'm following this phenomenon, this is getting insane.

Edit: If anyone can find more on this in their countries or see if it's happening elsewhere I'd really appreciate it. I don't think this is an isolated issue at all.
