If you’re in a relationship with a guy you should watch for signs of how he talks about you with his male friends:

  1. Does he tell them personal issues you have or things that could be embarrassing to you/ cause them to not view you with respect while keeping you completely shut off from any negative info or business about their bro? Big sign that he values the respect from them far more than respect from you or his relationship with you and should probably just date men

  2. Do his friends make little rude quips about you that he plays good cop on? Consider that him talking a bit disparagingly about you to them when you’re not there/ laughs at you is why they felt so comfortable to do it.

If he’s not the kind who stays completely quiet on everything he hears- he should be telling you his friends personal business and issues because the two of you are closer than them. Rather than telling your business and personal problems to his bros to laugh at because that indicates he’s closer to his bros than to you

Be alert to any signs you’ve been laughed about behind your back by them. As mentioned in my post this can occur even with a guy who makes a big show of big upping or bragging on you publicly when you’re around.
