No they don't. Most of them spend 10 years miserable together and then finally get divorced, dad probably doesn't pay child support because he's a piece of crap.

I would never have a baby if I couldn't financially take care of it by myself if needed. Getting stuck in a relationship like that is LITERALLY my worst nightmare.

They are perfect just at the beginning, the first months, the honeymoon phase, lovebombing phase, then they show plenty of red flags, you can spot them after that, read about lovebombing a lot and maybe you will be able to spot them in the lovebombing phase

You can't truly know a man until you are knocked up.

There is a reason why many separate during the first years of a child's life.

That's why I recommend building a good life and finances before you get pregnant, so you can leave him in case he turns out to be an a$$.

I went backpacking in Europe, and the day I left, my boyfriend at the time was spending time at the beach with a new girl he had just met (even though he had just told me that he loved me as I got onto the airplane). During my trip, he stopped communicating with me, and then he broke up with me over skype. Two months later, she was pregnant with his child.

Three years later, she's a single and unmarried mother, and he's on Tinder with a description about wanting every sex position possible. He also lives in an RV and has no job.

I'm so relieved I always resisted his comments about having kids with me. Dear lord!

You may have to prepare your life for being a single mum and raising the baby on your own, so you don't need to financially or emotionally rely on a man for it.

Alternatively, check out r/childfree if youre on the fence or decide that you don't want to have children

It happened to me. He wanted the baby more than I did and I stupidly let myself get pregnant. He put on a high value show before we married. I ignored red flags and married him too soon. He was low value during and after the pregnancy. I have ranted about it before. When he realized I was done, he didn't even try to make things better. He dug in his heels and thought I should accept him as is. So even if it was fixable, he was too low effort to try. And that's why I won't get married again or have another kid. I won't let that shit happen again.

Another sad story for you. My friend married her high school sweetheart after years of dating. They waited years to have a kid. He turned into an alcoholic, workaholic piece of shit after the baby. Instead of divorcing they had a bandaid baby to help keep them together. He got even worse. They've been divorced now for several years. I don't even know how she's doing because she pissed me off before they even got divorced and I stopped reaching out. She hasn't reached out either. My ex husband was friends with them both.

I got banned from that breakingmom subreddit for participating in this one. They claimed that "we had conflicting beliefs". HOW?

We look out for women. Period. Unapologetically and we actively ban male interlopers (unless on an FDS mod-approved post where male opinions are allowed, with aggressive moderation). They're afraid that we'll make some of their PICKME women realize what a terrible life choice they've made, and might empower those women to put themselves and their children above the self-interests of the man-vampires who are the centers of their mommyverse.
