I don't buy it (or don't want to). Idk about y'all but I primarily use cards and not cash, and use cash so infrequently that if even $1 was missing I'd know. How would you think to yourself every day "wow I thought I had more cash than this!" And not catch on something was up? Also $100 is not a "treat" amount of money. That's like, a nice pair of pants or a haircut. If you're rich enough to misplace $4 a day without noticing or caring than $100 is just pocket change and would get an "oh..ok" reaction IMHO.

Not that I don't think a mouth breather would do this. It is plausible. I just...don't buy a woman is that ditzy. Surely not??

A NVM ex of mine used to steal my laundry change when I was renting. I’d go to do laundry and all my change would be gone.

I stopped using the laundry in my building, as a result, and just started going to the laundromat so I could use their change machines.
