If you define “good skin” as just a lack of cystic acne and pustules everywhere (which is how good skin is defined for men) then yeah guys do have “good skin”. They can still have thousands of blackheads, dead skin sloughing off everywhere and enough grease to fry chicken. But male “good skin” would be considered absolutely unacceptable on a woman. Cos women aren’t even allowed to have pores lol.

I seen guys with flaky and terrible skin. It's because they don't take care of their skin. Skin care is done more by women then men because society tells men that they age like wine fine. Or if they take care of their skin, they are called gay or feminine. But they should too. It will be good for their skin and will look better.

I remember one guy I dated bragged about having "good skin" because he had no acne. But he had dry, flakey skin filled with dead skin. Like looking at the texture of his skin, you could tell water doesn't touch his skin, because it was very textured and dull.

Eh, I'd say some have decent skin, some have shit skin, it's genetics. But there's a severe lack of skincare when it comes to guys, and even with good genetics it'll show with time.

Almost every man I have ever met has had awful skin. But the goalposts for what's considered good skin for Men vs good skin for women are so far apart they're not even on the same playing field. Men dont have an entire industry built around pointing out their imperfections and selling them cures for those imperfections.

This is it, the standards are different. Men aren't expected to wear full makeup everyday, and it's gotten to the point that we're unaccustomed to seeing a woman's natural face.

Most men we meet actually have terrible skin but we're so used to airbrushed female models and made up faces we don't even realize men are not held to the same standards. Also, most have enough facial hair to hide it, which helps.
All in all, seeing men in their "natural" state is normal but seeing women Iike that? Cue in the "tired" and "has given up on herself" comments. Why aren't men told the same when some look like literal trash bags? Why do we have to be perfect all the time or else? (Laughing at the "but we actually prefer natural girls" comments that I so often read/hear - "natural" make up looks maybe!)
It's no wonder seeing as most men just use 2-in-1 shampoo on their face or - the real horror - fucking Lysol (yup, saw it on a TikTok). They're lucky society doesn't give a shit about it.

So I was with my Negative value ex, and I was putting on some hydrating moisturizer, and I had a little extra on my hand so I said " here" and went to put some on him. He acted like I had tried to put battery acid on him. He got legit pissed at me and said " I look fine, I dont need that crap". He is 43 and he looks like hes in his 50's. I'm 44 and people consistently think I'm about 32 or so. I constantly hear " you do not look old enough to have a 25 year old son"

I can’t even 😫😫😫. My ex had the flakiest most oily skin and the biggest pores I’d ever seen in my life. They were so big and dark it was like staring in the void. I used to caress his face and flakes would come off
