this. he tried to tell me his ex was insane and abusive and kept nudes of him for blackmail, then showed me her nudes and said the only reason he had them was to blackmail her if she tried it with him.

he said she cheated on him with 30 guys, when it was the other way around. he cheated on her with 20+ other people.

he said she manipulated him and was toxic. He was the one who would gaslight and abuse her. he would barely spend half an hour with her for an entire week and then blamed it on her for being who she was.

I feel like they’re getting better at this now and know how to lie. They know saying they’re ex is crazy makes them look bad. I’ve had guys give vague, conflicting answers as to why it didn’t work out. Other guys will try and make themselves sound empathetic towards the ex “She hated herself. She had low self esteem. I feel bad for her.” One guy told me his ex “stopped being affectionate” with him and “wouldn’t talk about it” so he had no choice but to break up. He thought it made him sound not at fault but instead I was thinking “what did he do to her?”

One fuckboy that I was briefly involved with told me a story about how his ex was a crazy jealous bitch. He said he’d tell her he was going to hang out with other girls out of the blue (even though he wasn’t, just to see her reaction), and that she’d get short with him, and that she told him to have fun but it didn’t sound like she meant it. Like wtf?! He’d lie to try to make her jealous and then get mad when she’d (reasonably!) get SLIGHTLY salty!! like her reaction was perfectly calm and polite but because she didn’t genuinely wish him a good time, he thought she was psychotically jealous.
