This is important. Too many women let men figure themselves out, figure out what they want, or grow up on their watches. Learn to be repulsed by a man’s confusion instead of leaning in to convince, perform, teach, persuade, nurture or cajole. HVM know what they want, and when they don’t, they don’t loiter in people’s lives playing games trying to sort themselves out.

This is a good analogy, actually.
Now that I've started to change the way in which I think (thank you, FDS), I'm starting to have so much regret over how much of my time I gave to people who didn't deserve it. I still have a tendency to hold on to people for too long, but I'm working on it.

This goes for platonic relationships as well. If your friend is going through a hard time, then by all means help them out, but if they never stop going through hard times you have to decide if they’re just unwilling or unable to progress, and if so they’ll drag you down with them.

He's a guy who has a instagram account with a lot of followers. At one point he even started a newsletter and wrote a book.
He radiates enormous fuckboi vibes, drinks a lot (I think even drugs) and likes 'spontaneous' things. But all of the relationship advice is really solid tho. And he writes a very enjoyable female empowerment post every Sunday (with a Disney thumbnail and examples from great women in history).

Maybe the fact that he knows the fuckboy ways makes him good at advising girls against the fuckboy methods lol

This is so true. The person I'm with seemed to have his life together until we got married and I realized he has a lot to figure out still. It hurts to feel blindsided but I'm going to have to move on. Life's too short to prop someone up while they finish becoming a whole person.
