Don’t be scared to use these statements when protecting someone else - if someone got interrupted and you see that person is too shy to say something - you can say something. Don’t play an advocate in business situations, but when it’s more casual I think it’s a really nice thing

Shorten up 2. They know they're interrupting; no need to educate them.

If a dude interrupts me I immediately interrupt back by raising my hand and saying-- firmly and loudly-- "I'm not finished talking."
