My mom is an overall bad ass in all areas of life and continues to impress me in all she does. She's been divorced for over 10 years now and hasn't found anyone to her standards yet. She's happy on her own and always working on herself!

A little while ago, she was seeing this guy she met at her friend's party. He was rowdy and silly and she had a lot of fun with him but I don't think she ever saw it going anywhere. But they had a lot of fun together just joking around together especially at parties within that social circle. They were unofficially seeing each other for a few months, then I didn't hear about him for a few weeks so I asked her how that's going. She says "Oh, him??" (LOL savage) and then tells me this story:

She went to his apartment because he offered to make her dinner. He had mentioned that he was looking to purchase a vehicle recently so she asked him about it as part of a casual conversation while he was finishing up cooking. He said he was financing a brand new model. She was confused for a sec, because this guy was still renting an apartment and didn't have such a great job. She asked why he was financing a new model instead of buying second-hand. He said "New cars, new girls you know?"

She said "Pardon me what was that?"

Him: "I said new cars, new girls"

She stood up, calmly picked up her purse and said nonchalantly "Oh, well alright then" with a smile. She walked out as he scrambled to tell her he was only joking. She just repeated to him one more time: "New cars, new girls" as she walked out and then blocked him.
