In fact don't ever drink more than one drink around them. I had a guy wait eight years of friendship, so-called, to rape me when I was a little drunk (3 drinks) one night. And of course I was drunk because of emotional fallout from a man I was dating who raped me. I was actually out with this friend because I was talking to him about it and it was triggering me. So I had more than one drink. Never was drunk around this friend before, or it all around any man. He took that opportunity immediately. They will literally wait in the wings for a decade to rape you at the first opportunity.

So when FDS says don't drink around men and don't share your trauma with men that is good advice.

This is horrifying! I've also came across this article that has the video of a woman showing how easy it is to spike a drink without one noticing.

Thank god that waitress and then her manager did the right thing when the waitress informed the manager and the manager called police. Had the waitress not informed the manager or if she did, but the manager was some ZVM scrote who would blow it off, I shudder to think what would happen to that poor woman.

I sadly believe a situation like this, where the woman is not only notified, but police are called and the man is arrested, is very much an outlier of what usually happens in these situations, even when a staff member witnesses it. I think many might notify the woman (and many will not), but not the police. It makes me sad and angry to think about.

If you guys click on the link to the article, it also shows a super helpful Tik tok about a woman who shows all the different ways that drinks can get spiked with popcorn kernels. And damn! I’ve had a few close calls just looking at her video and thinking back to my old college days! Oh my lord!!

This is why I don’t drink and I just do edibles. I don’t trust men.

Sounds weird but I’ve even had men ask me if I’m high rn and I’ll say yes I took so many edibles and see how they act around me even if I’m stone cold sober. I’ve had a few try to take advantage and I’ve had to get up and leave.

All pre Covid bc I stopped dating in January.
