I was having a chat about using burner numbers and I got called paranoid. Idc if I'm paranoid. Men stalk, harass, rape, and murder women way too often for me not to be. Tbh I'm not sure if I ever want to date again. But if I do I'm NEVER giving out my real number. Far too many guys put a facade until you let your guard down. And I don't want them to have any material that would let me be stalked later.

He wants send me a gift? He can send that to my mail box at the post office. He wants to take me on a date? He can tell me where it is and I'll meet him half way. He wants my number? Burner number. Social media? He'll get my back up account and he'll be getting blocked immediately on my main account. He can look at my ugly nature photography photos and my failed drawings lol.

I probably sound a bit crazy but tbh you have to be in this world. My dad has done a lot of stupid shit but I do not think he was wrong in teaching me to fear men. That is one thing I'll forever be grateful for (even if I do have agoraphobia now 😬). My mom has told me men (and people in general) always show red flags within the first 6 months to a year. And this rule has never failed me, even regarding friendship. Vet vigorously during this time and leave the very moment he shows a red flag.

Be safe ladies! Please if you can, list some ways in the comments girls and women can keep themselves and each other safe. To start, one way I took precaution with my friend going on a date I told her to turn her snap location on (for me specifically) and give me her mother's number. If it got too late without her telling me if she's okay I said I would call her mother immediately. I probably sounded like an over protective parent but nothing breaks my heart more than hearing stories of innocent women and girls getting hurt. I couldn't live with myself if I let my friend go with a strange man and get hurt.
