This was a good video and something she mentioned close to the very end stuck out to me. Referring to the Madonna/Who're complex. She used the phrase "wife you up". I've seen various iterations of that phrase a lot in recent years and it just drives me crazy. I realize that words and slang evolves over time but still the idea of wanting or not wanting to "wife someone up" seems very misogynistic to me.

BDSM is misogynistic. rough sex is misogynistic. all kinks and fetishes that made it into the "acceptability zone" revolve around rigid and oppressive structures where women are the exploited and men are the exploiters.
