I casually play video games sometimes, but I do it after work and study is done, and I have done my work out at the gym and had some time out in the sunshine to appreciate nature. Then, if there is time, I slot in bit of time to escape in a fun fantasy game like Zelda.

The last gamer I went on a date with showed up 20 minutes late, was dirty and looked like he dragged himself out from some sort of cess pit. They often have a really unhealthy diet, no motivation and social anxiety issues that they don't work on. It can be fun when it's just one small section of entertainment in life, but they let it encompass everything else, it's very sad behaviour. I won't be dating someone who refers to themselves as a "gamer", if that's their main hobby.

I was chatting with a guy who’s recently bought and moved into his new house - I may have noped out on him instantly when he mentioned having just ordered one of these one of these for pride of place in his living room.

I’m a video gamer in my downtime, but this was just a big fat red flag for me if this was his vision for the home he eventually wanted to bring a partner into.

My ex gamed his life into a ditch he can't get over it. He is in his mid thirties which is the cut off point for success and hasn't achieved shit. His latest relationship crashed and burned, moved back in with his parents, is broke and suicidal. Mans ain't recovering from that. He's done.
