Leveling up is lonely because it’s easy to stay stagnant, remain low value, and accept little effort.

Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter pushback:

  • From old acquaintances who knew your pick me self and now love to harp on the person you once were. They’ll remind you of the mistreatment you endured in the past because they can’t stand knowing that not only have you taken the opportunity to leave those circumstances and grow, but you have flourished. These people loved seeing your pick me self and now bring her up because it makes them feel better knowing they were better than you at some point.

  • From “friends” who are currently witnessing your level up journey. They’re the ones who put you down for your “ambitious” goals and tell you you’re being unrealistic and that women who have achieved those exact goals did so at the expense of more “important” things. Or they’ll try to put you down and make fun of your leveling-up routine, like bullies do. They want to see you fail, and at the least humiliated, because they refuse to do what it takes to succeed. It’s too much for them.

  • From anyone who experiences your higher standards. They will attempt to convince you that treatment near, at, or below the bare minimum is “normal” so they can continue their poor behavior.

Leveling up is hard. It takes consistent time and effort. But it is worth it. It will be worth it when you look in the mirror and love the person that looks back at you. It will be worth it when you find yourself surrounded with HV friends And it will be worth it when you’re with a HV partner.
