Remember charm is not a trait people have naturally. It's a character trait manufactured for the intent to manipulate someone (I believe I read this in the book Gift of Fear). Like sales people. They act as charming & personable as possible because they want to make a sale. He admitted to being a player. My guess is some woman ghosted him for being a piece of shit so now he's going to "punish" all women by treating them horribly. Don't feel bad, you dodged a bullet.
