Since a pretty difficult breakup two months back, I've bought myself an entirely new wardrobe and been spoiling myself with little luxuries I could never afford until recently. I've secured a new job paying twice as much as any of my previous jobs. I've gotten my hair done. I've lost 9 pounds thus far. I've put away thousands in savings. I've invested in my skincare routine and even gotten a few minor procedures to repair my acne scarring (with more to come) I've been kicking my depression in the ass by deep cleaning the house, cooking meals for the first time, and throwing myself into schoolwork (currently taking 9 summer credits) I've been spending nights out with friends and my roommate, and weekends away with a different guy who treats me wonderfully while utilizing my vibrator several times a day when I'm alone. And most of all, I've discovered this sub! Outwardly, I've really been taking life by the horns.

So why do I still find my ex so difficult to get over and stop thinking about? I'm trying to do everything "right" to level up and move on, but he nags at my brain and, regrettably, I feel as if he were to call today to try and smooth things over, I would 100% go to him.

How else can I level up? What can I do to shake him?
