This will probably just be a disorganized rant but I need to get it out of my system. If anybody has any good reads on the dangers of prostitution and sex work I would super appreciate it.

I loathe how pickme’s just blindly push towards the legalization of prostitution under the guise of “empowerment” without actually examining the effect it has on women. It’s blatantly obvious that nobody, especially men, respects sex workers. There is this insidious subset of men that want to be able to throw money at a woman and then proceed to rape her within the confines of legality. There is a reason why prostitution and violence go hand in hand; men do not see them as human beings, they are a purchased product to these scrotes.
