On top of having fewer opportunities when something was accomplished like being inventors they were stolen by men. If it was group effort men took all the accolades while women got no credit. Women work is never taken serious until man takes over. The first computer programmer was Ada Lovelace and: Women built the tech industry. Then they were pushed out. That male pig had nerve to say women are not naturally inclined to be in programming . Computer programming was originally thought to be women work. Midwives were burned at the stake for being witches.

I'm gonna be frank. I would rather have none of the inventions, tech, luxuries, and medicine we have now if it meant that women had equal roles and contribution from the start. If time was done over. They've ruined everything because they have an uncanny ability at being selfish with no foresight or self reflection. There is a con to almost all of their "contributions" to the progress of humanity. I'm not appreciative of shit and I won't be thanking any of those things for stomping out 50% of human ingenuity for the past thousand years.
