I’ve been single and celibate and not dating for a few months. This year has been full of trauma and just really poor mental health. I have like two friends who usually live far away and I’m very much alone and lonely.

I was feeling super depressed and trapped the other day so I decided to post and write a little vent in the Suicide Watch subreddit, as well as another mental health related subreddit about my rape and sexual abuse that’s happened to me.

I just maybe wanted someone to talk to, maybe another woman struggling, or even just a dude and we could keep tabs on each other once in a while through text.

Instead, I was messaged by around 5-6 men, all asking to be my “dom” (dominant BDSM partner) who would give me orders and ask for sexts and sexual favors.

Girls. Be careful out there. Even when you’re suicidal, there will be men out there who will take advantage of your mental weakness and loneliness for their depraved needs. These men stalk the suicide subreddits and message girls, the more vulnerable the better. Be safe. Think long term.
