So I messed up, I broke the FDS rule not to get a crush on someone. So I’ll name this guy Jake. Jake and I shared a similar hobby and I would notice him checking me out. He never really had an opportunity to approach me because we had conflicting schedules but I guess if he wanted to, he would, right? Anyway I learned a little about him, and he definitely sounded really good. So today I had plans with a woman that knows us both to participate in some game night. It was first time hanging out with her from the same hobby. I didn’t know who was coming, but to my surprise Jake was there and we were on the same team. However, up close, I realized that I do not find him that attractive. I also realize he didn’t look as tall and big as I thought from a distance. Lastly, he is clearly the annoying one in his friend group. Often times people told him to shut up and we’re annoyed by him. He was not viewed as a ‘man’. So now I feel stupid for wasting my time by building someone up with 0 data or info lol. I know better!
