The first time I dealt with the pain of finding out a boyfriend of mine watched porn these were my thoughts too. Then I got desensitized to it because it just seemed impossible to find a man who doesn’t watch it. I’m single now but I’m viscerally remembering that feeling now and feel so worthless. He is imagining banging her, he is cheating on you in his mind. If he could, he would. I feel hopeless about it at this point. My last ex was the worst of them, an ED ridden porn addict. Even the best guy I ever dated who treated me like a queen by FDS standards in every way... except this one thing. In what seemed like a perfect relationship, at one point he got a VR headset, I picked it up and found a VR porn video with a busty blonde girl. I’m neither. He said he was just curious. We spent every night together, he must’ve looked it up in the bathroom. If a guy who cooked for me, never flirted with other girls, planned our vacations, bought me flowers and cards on random days, complimented me, did everything for my convenience did that.. how can there be hope? How do you fight that pain and feel sexy and ENOUGH for a man if this is the reality? I’m struggling.

I feel so triggered even reading stories like this. I just can’t imagine putting my trust in another man to be let down. I’m confident, happy, and secure when I’m alone. I avoid comparing myself to other women or consuming tons of potentially photoshopped images so I can focus on what I love about my own body, mind, and spirit.

I don’t believe a porn sick man can fully appreciate one “real” woman. They are absolutely comparing us and they absolutely prefer the women they’re looking at. And since they’re looking so often, these images are readily available for recall. They have the option to fully focus on, learn about, and appreciate their partner’s body, but they’d rather just look at other people. Then wonder why they “can’t connect” with women 🙄

I’ve dated one man who didn’t watch porn (while in a relationship) and he was the only one who consistently looked me in the eyes during sex. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

This is why it’s better to NOT fuck a guy you want, (I know the woman in the situation is married but this is for my single ladies out there) it sounds counterintuitive but hear me out.

If you fuck him, you give him the experience, the power, the pleasure of being inside of you.

Now he can gloat about it to his friends, feels ten times better than he is, etc etc.

However, if you do NOT sleep with him... If you actually refuse to do so (sounds like I’m teaching you to play games but HERE ME OUT cause the “end game” really is to just let it be)... if you don’t then you’ll always get to be the fantasy in his mind. Because

1) Guys tend to not respect the girls that DO give it out so easily to them

2) Bruises his ego, he’ll never understand why YOU didn’t want to sleep with him when he got such a hard on with you.

3) Pornsick guys like that always have a collection of their favorite porn stars/girls/women they wanna fuck... so now you are also a fantasy that he’ll never know. :)

And for most of those guys, fantasy will always be somewhat better than reality. Thus why they could have an AMAZING woman by their side, but still scratching their balls at the women on the screens... because their sick minds will always ogle and wonder.

Also SN: As I’m writing this, “Its a Hard Knock Life” came on. Coincidence? I think not!
