For example, many divorced men will claim their ex wife was abusive. They'll say stuff like "she was always nagging me to do stuff" or "she was always angry with me" or "she never wanted to have sex" or "she wouldn't let me use our kid's college fund to buy a boat/motorcycle/sports car, she was sO cOnTrOlLiNg"

The definition of emotional abuse is: a pattern of behavior which may include verbal aggression, intimidation, manipulation, and humiliation, which aims to diminish another person's sense of identity, dignity and self worth. The abuser does this to control and gain power over the victim.

Sometimes I didn't want to give a reason because I didn't want the LVM to learn to hide his nature better from other women. Other times I knew they'd use it as an excuse to argue & try to convince me I'm wrong.

If we weren't even dating I don't see how I'd owe them an explanation for not wanting to continue not dating.

But ghosting is rude instead of at least telling them you are not going to be in contact anymore you just pretend he doesn’t exist, and I’m not saying any of the crossed out parts are right and if you try to say “but he did a lot of horrible stuff to me” ok ya you can be mad and stuff but you can at least tell him/her you are not going to be in contact and then block them or ignore them or whatever and here are some point I want to make

It can hurt him/her (I’m not saying emotional abuse)
He/her will understand more if you tell them you are not going to be in contact and won’t be mad
If he did horrible horrible stuff like breaking up after a long time or emotionally or physically abuse you)
