Oh yeah, "powerful", in quotation marks, because the US definitely isn't that... Surprise surprise, people think burning a symbol of an oppressed minority is worse than burning the flag of a country built on genocide, slavery, savage capitalism, and the most aggressive imperialist project the world has ever seen. And despite all of that and being the richest country in History it still doesn't affort its citizens the very minimum for a dignified existence, like the right to healthcare, education, housing and food security. You know damn well hate against lgbt means hate against individuals while hate against the US means hate against a political project. Where are all the hate crimes commited against americans?? There aren't any, because anti-americanism isn't about subjugating individuals, contrary to anti-lgbt. Get out of here with that bullshit
