Speaking as the creator of r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates, this new subreddit is an attempt, however small, to address the very problem you're describing.

The way I see it, the problem is that men are viewed as a traditionally privileged class. And because the left opposes advocacy for traditionally privileged classes, therefore the left is currently opposed to men's rights. However, if we can convince people to question the perception of men as being a traditionally privileged class, then we might have a chance of convincing left-wingers.

Another problem is that left-wingers have been brainwashed not to even listen to men's rights advocates, because MRAs are so demonized as far-rightists. I figure left-wingers might be more willing to listen to a faction with "left wing" in the title.

Will we succeed? I don't know. I'm well aware it's not going to be easy, but I've decided I might as well give it a try.

Because most "left wingers" these days are, sadly, giant neoliberals who've bought into the whole idpol stuff that the wealthy use to divide the working classes. Often because they themselves are privileged when it comes to class.

My main thought is that they are afraid of someone actually getting real traction on helping men in some way that they don't have control over. They want the credit. They want the attention. They want the control. Doing good outside of their purview bothers them.

It has always been an effective social strategy to loudly and actively dismiss those low on the social totem pole.

It's an easy way to gather "good and protects from the OTHERS" status by attacking those who are already outcasts.

Why is it that most left wing channels will not tackle a serious human rights violation like infant circumcision?

Why is it that the left tolerates a hate movement called feminism and enable it, thus driving more men to the right?

The answer to every single one of your questions is simple: "chivalry."

Before even the rise of Enlightenment Liberalism, Chivalry was a thing. Its a core principle of our society. Provide for and protect women. Care for women. Love women. Value women.

Not to mention, most men are straight or at least opposite-sex-attracted, and society says a man's goodness is measured (at least in part) by how much he manages to get laid. Flattering women and providing for/protecting them is often adopted as a strategy to get laid.

Neither the left nor the right, speaking generally (yes, there are exceptions on both sides) care about men's issues. Chivalry and pre-political gender dynamics explain why. Men's advocates, no matter what politics they hold, are fighting an uphill battle.

That last question answers the first two: YOU. If you're going to just label feminism an outright hate movement, you make it harder for legitimate issues to be heard.
