When you give evidences that disprove the "patriarchy theory" that we lived in a system that privilege men at the expense of women, feminists say "privilege might come at the cost of responsibility" ! in other words men's disadvantages are just a result of how privileged they are ! a comment in this post say :

It WAS patriarchy. Males were the dominant figure while women were mantelpieces. That's the definition of patriarchy. But as a result of this men were expected to be the ones to make the sacrifices, as the capable members of society. Thus it is not binary. How is this so complex to you. Are you incapable of understanding that privilege might come at the cost of responsibility.

Men are expected to die to save women is a result of male privilege ! that doesn't make any sense. and why not apply that logic on women ? Saudi Arabia is a matriarchy, women are not allowed to drive because the society care too much about their safety. not being allowed to drive is privilege backfiring. privilege might come at the cost of liverty.

The patriarchy defined as "a system that privilege men at the expense of women" don't exist and never existed. the patriarchy is a myth. Patriarchy only exist if you focus exclusively on women's disadvantages and men's advantages and ignore men's disadvantages and women's advantages ..

If you explain men's disadvantages as "the privilege backfiring" then i will do the same with women's disadvantages and i will say that in Saudi Arabia women are privileged and men are oppressed.
